Carion Fenn Foundation Presents our First Annual Mental Health Forum in partnership with Ajax Public Library October 10, 2017. Recognizing National Mental Health Awareness Day.


1 in 5 Canadians are affected by Mental Health. Its important for us to increase awareness and facilitate a discussion about mental health within our community. Mental Health is a disability like all other disabilities. Our Mental Health Forum featuring a passport session involving 14 Organizations and a symposium of Experts and community leaders having  frank discussions about mental health. Attendees who participate in the Passport and Symposium have the opportunity to enter our draw for prizes from Staples.

Passport: 5pm - 7pm (Library Main Floor) 14 Organizations- Visit our Exhibitors of Organizations making an impact in our communities. Get educational information and get your stamp.  Then join our Symposium to start the conversation with our Experts and enter into our Grand Prize. 


Symposium: 7pm - 9pm (Rotary Room): Panel of experts, patients and community leaders discussing how mental health affects them and the community. Audience in the Rotary Room, Skype and those on Social Media will have the ability to ask questions of each panelist. Lorne Coe, MPP for Whitby/Oshawa, will bring greetings and Celina Caesar-Chavannes MP will be a panelist.
