By Clicking on the URL’s, sending a request to participate in our Covid-19 Virtual Seniors Program to access our program, all participants recognize that our program they will be participating in may have some inherent risks. By participating you knowingly and voluntarily assume the risks of engaging in our program activities. You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to be aware of the risk associated with the activity and to safeguard yourself by ensuring that:

A. You are physically able/capable of the activities
B. You do not participate beyond your capabilities.
C. You exercise safety measures appropriate to the activities

By participating, you acknowledge that you understand that Carion Fenn Foundation, Carion Fenn and its partners, sponsors, experts or funder in the program endeavors to provide the best possible leadership, instruction and to provide a safe environment for the program/activity you are joining. By participating you hereby release Carion Fenn Foundation, Carion Fenn, it’s partners, Sponsors, Experts or funder from any liability arising out of your participation.

Zoom will only allow those with invites to attend the meeting. Please register for our program so that you can get an invite to the meeting, the details for connecting and our program schedule. When you get the invite in your email, click on the link about 5 minutes before our program begins. The link will take you to our Covid-19 Virtual Seniors Program.

Zoom Meeting Etiquette

  1. Join early – up to 5 minutes before the meeting start time
  2. If you haven’t used Zoom before, click the link to download Zoom prior to the day of the meeting and familiarize yourself with any features you may need to use on the day–mute/unmute microphone, stop/start video, screen share etc.
  3. Have your video on, unless you are experiencing connection issues
  4. Find a quiet space without interruptions and background noise
  5. Don't do anything on camera you wouldn't do in a program full of people. Keep your clothes on and try not to point the camera toward private rooms in your house
  6. Adjust your camera to be at around eye level if possible; take note of the angle of your device screen
  7. Mute your microphone, when not talking, and remember everyone can hear you!
  8. Try to avoid talking over and at the same time as other participants
  9. Be aware you are on camera and try to avoid doing other tasks, checking emails, looking at your phone, etc.
