Registered Charity # 802775791RR0001

The Carion Fenn Foundation is a Registered Charity established to provide support, education and resources to individuals impacted by Mental Health, Syringomyelia, Chiari Malformation, Chronic Diseases and Rare Diseases through a variety of health and wellness programs that are free to the public. Our programs include Kids Health Forum, Mental Health Chat, Mental Health Symposium, Mental Health Forum, Resilience Workshops, Rare Disease Expo, Black Open Mic, Anti-Black Racism Forum, Health 180 with Carion Fenn on Rogers TV Durham and more.

Our goal is to address the needs of individuals and ensure that no one who is impacted by the physical, emotional or social symptoms of chronic or rare diseases has to go through such devastating challenges alone. As a federal charity, we evaluate the needs of the community and implement our programs to support community members.

Our foundation was founded by award winning Healthcare Advocate Carion Fenn. She is a Rogers TV Durham Host, a Member of Lakeridge Health Board of Trustees, Vice Chair & Chair of the Board Quality Committee and Committee Board Chair of the Ajax Pickering Hospital Community Panel. She is a Past Accessibility Advisor to Town of Ajax Council and Vice Chair on the Accessibility Advisory Committee. Carion is honoured to be featured in Women of influence, "meet a role model" 2020, one of the 100 Black Canadian Women to Watch 2020, one of the 100 Accomplished Black Canadian Women 2018 by the Honourable Jean Augustine and her co-authors.
